Chris Bashinelli, also known as, “Bash”, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. After a decade long acting career including an appearance on the HBO hit television show, The Sopranos, Bash decided to follow his real passion – using media to build bridges between cultures. In his early 20’s, he became one of the youngest Moderators at the United Nations and made a documentary about his journey to Tanzania. Since 1995, Matt Bellace has been traveling the country as a professional speaker and stand-up comedian. He has spoken in 46 states to a wide range of audiences, including SEAL Team Six and survivors of Sandy Hook. Dr. Bellace has a PhD in clinical neuropsychology and trained at both the National Institutes of Mental Health and the traumatic brain and spinal cord injury units of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is the author of the book, “A Better High,” contributing author for National Geographic Kids, and was a regular on truTV’s, “World’s Dumbest.” Matt’s presentation will focus on reducing stress, natural highs and resilience.
Matt’s educational background reads more like that of a professor than a speaker and comedian. He has always had a passion for neuroscience. In fact, his doctorate in clinical psychology includes a subspecialty in clinical neuropsychology, which is the study of the brain and behavior. In graduate school, he spent two summers as an intern studying memory in primates at the National Institutes of Mental Health in Bethesda, MD. His doctoral work also included training in the treatment of epilepsy at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (Philadelphia), learning disorders in a pediatric neuropsychology private practice and psychotherapy at the Drexel University- Hahnemann Campus, Student Counseling Center. Matt completed his clinical internship working with traumatic brain and spinal cord injury patients at The Mount Sinai Medical in New York City. In 2005, Matt successfully defended his dissertation, “Activation of the Hippocampus During Emotional Learning,” which was later published in the International Journal of Neuroscience.

After paroling prison on December 13, 2008, Tony Hoffman started living out his dream, with his addiction behind him. Tony is a Former BMX Elite Pro and placed 2nd at the 2016 World Championships in Medellin Colombia in the Masters Pro class. Tony coached Women’s Elite Pro, Brooke Crain, to a 4th place finish at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil. His story is full of redemption as he has seen some of the highest highs, and the lowest lows. Tony has presented on the prestigious TEDx stage and is the Founder and Director of The Freewheel Project, a non-profit organization that mentors thousands of youth through action sports. Today, Tony is one of the most requested substance abuse speakers in the country, traveling 200 days a year to share his inspiring story with various audiences. Tony’s future goal is to open the Tony Hoffman Wellness Center where he hopes to redirect the lives of those struggling with addiction onto the path of sobriety and purpose.
